![]() (It's because of a Vienna Synchron player update, and possibly also their downloading app although it's currently working for me on Windows 7, it probably won't at some point. for one thing, since getting my vienna instruments to work on Linux, they now don't work on Windows. But I'm thinking of doing the Windows 10 upgrade. I guess what I'll do is continue what I'm doing. ![]() As far as I know, that doesn't really work very well with DAWS. One person suggested I do a virtual system. I can just go back to using Reaper on Windows (although I'd need to update to - ugh - Windows 10). Also, since I'm a hobbyist, there is no great loss if it doesn't work out. ![]() I told them that many people are having success doping this, although the best results are from running native Linux software. ![]() That went OK.īut when I posted about how much I rely on Wine and LinVst, several people told me I should just go back to Windows, as eventually something is going to break. I ended up doing the next update, which I had put off, by first doing the security updates, then the kernel, then the rest. Awhile back, I had a problem with an update causing my project not to load, so I did a thread on the Mint forum. ![]()
